Numbers Nightclub :: 300 Westheimer Rd :: 713.562.6551
The oldest nightspot for the dark denizens of Houston’s goth-industrial-fetish scene. Every Friday is “Classic Numbers” 80’s night as well as some Saturdays. Also hosts the monthly Underworld event catered specifically to we darklings as well as many concerts and events for the dark scene.
Middle Earth :: 6305 Skyline Dr
A large warehouse-style club featuring multiple chambers, bars, and a large outdoor area, Middle Earth has taken over this former locale for feature fetish events and concerts alike. Now the resident haunt of Houston's own, inernationally-known Havok, Middle Earth promises to sate all delights with its large dance floor, dancing pit, upstairs seating, and roomy accommodations.
Sliders Bar :: 1424 Westheimer Rd :: 713.528.2788
Former home of Elixir 13, one of the first and longest running regular Monday night gothic events while it lasted. Features DJ Synthetic every other Friday, playing industrial, 80's, punk, techno, and synthpop. Not an exclusive hangout for darklings, but they do have Jagermeister on tap!
Cartbird’s Bar :: 1336 Westheimer Rd :: 713.523.8000
A relaxing bar in the Monstrose District of Houston, playing soothing lounge tunes. This place boasts a mingling of jazz and rockabilly feel as well as some of the most accomplished and friendly bartenders we have come across. They also have Jagermeister on tap.
Lola’s Depot Bar :: 2327 Grant :: 713.528.8342
A somewhat hidden place, Lola’s bears more of a dark poolhall feel, with a jukebox that promises to delight with its range of punk, ska, and rockabilly. No discernable markings identify it from the outside, but if you can find it, it is a nice, generally relaxed place to hang out and have a few.
Engine Room :: 1515 Pease St :: 713.654.7846
A live venue club that boasts a large common room for the gathering. Has been host to many bands and acts that make up our scene as well as featuring the work of some of our talented local, dark artists.
Cardi’s :: 9301 Bissonet St :: 713.270.0053
Used to also host a weekly gothic-industrial night, but has since gone a more consistent route of being a live venue for lesser known acts in the various metal veins. A nice, multi-storied place in southwest Houston, which has quickly become the ground of emergence for many a band.
